Subject: SWEET TEXAS...
What a show , the first night was full of nonstop rock but things only got better the second night. One hell of a setlist with an encore that sent me home wanting to go see them again and again. This was my first time in Austin in years and what a weekend it was.

Subject: PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR BALLS ROCKED OFF
THE SOUND IS GREAT, THE SHOW WAS A BLAZING FIREBALL. YOU LIKE WEEN. YOU LIKE TO ROCK. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. STUBB'S NO LONGER EXISTS, IT IS NOW A SMOLDERING CRATER AFTER THIS SHOW. SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR BALLS.

Notes

From the taper: 'Notes: There were some technical dificulties during the acoustic set that created some crackling sounds, mostly during the beginning of "Help Me Scrape The Mucus Off My Brain" and the end of "I Don't Want It". A few other times during the show there are some apparent crackling noises, which i assume were technical dificulties that they seemed to work through. Also, i appologize for not catching them soon enough at the show to tell them to be quite, but during Glen's keyboard solo on "Pandy Fackler", there is a very loud lady talking for a few seconds, and right before Gene starts singing during "Fluffy" there is a guy that starting yelling far away saying something like "hey, i heard your recording from last night...". I tried my best to hurry over and shut them up, so hopefully you can listen around these minor flaws in the recording. Cheers!'
